Bollywood Dance School Canada and PD Event Solutions Inc. (collectively referred to as "Bollywood Dance School Canada," "BDS Canada," "we," "our," or "us") operate the website www.bollywooddanceschool.ca and the Bollywood Dance School Canada mobile application (together, the "Service").

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Generally:

Account and profile information is retained for as long as your account remains active, and is deleted once you submit a verified deletion request.
Booking, class, and payment records are retained for as long as necessary to support your ongoing registrations, and afterward as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance purposes.
Marketing and communication data (e.g., email preferences) is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Chat messages sent through our on-site chat assistant are retained by our chat provider, Zoho SalesIQ, for as long as reasonably necessary to provide customer support.
Technical and analytics data collected by Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Meta Pixel is retained according to those providers' own default retention settings.

Where we no longer need personal information for these purposes, we take steps to delete or anonymize it.

Data Deletion / Your Right to Delete Your Data

You may request that we delete the personal information we hold about you, including by deleting your account, at any time. To request deletion, email us at info@bollywooddanceschool.ca with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

Once we've verified your identity, we will delete your personal data from our systems, generally using Wix's data deletion tools, typically within 7–10 business days of a verified request.

We may retain limited information where required for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial recordkeeping, or compliance with legal obligations, even after a deletion request. Where this applies, we will inform you which information is retained and why.

Deleting your account will remove your ability to log in and access your booking history, and will automatically cancel any upcoming registered classes or workshops associated with your account. If you have a paid registration you wish to keep, please complete or transfer it before requesting deletion.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request a copy of your personal information, in addition to the right to request deletion described above. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section.

Data Security

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect the personal information you provide to us. This includes administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your information. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
