Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in all classes, courses, workshops, programs, events, rehearsals, rentals, and use of facilities rented or leased by Bollywood Dance School Canada and PD Event Solutions Inc. (collectively referred to as "BDS Canada," "we," "us," or "our").

By registering for, paying for, or attending any class, course, pop-up workshop, event, rental, rehearsal, or activity at BDS Canada, you ("Client," "Student," or "Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Registration & Enrollment

  • Registration is required prior to participation in any class, program, or event.

  • All required forms, including liability waivers, must be completed before participation.

  • For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Payment & Fees

  • All class, membership, rental, and program fees must be paid in full prior to participation.

  • Costume rental fees are due by the date requested by BDS Canada staff.

  • All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly outlined in Section 5 (Cancellations, Refunds & Credits).

  • BDS Canada reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment.

3. Attendance & Conduct

  • Participants are expected to arrive on time and attend classes regularly.

  • Repeated lateness or absences may impact a participant’s ability to continue in a class or program.

  • Respectful behaviour toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants is required at all times.

  • BDS Canada reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate, without refund.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

  • Participation in dance and physical activity involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury, illness, or property damage.

  • By participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless BDS Canada, its officers, directors, employees, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability arising from participation.

  • Participants must follow all safety instructions and disclose any injuries, medical conditions, or health concerns to instructors prior to class.

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Credits

  • BDS Canada reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify classes, programs, or events due to inclement weather, low enrollment, instructor availability, emergencies, or other circumstances.

  • In such cases, class credits or make-up classes may be offered at the sole discretion of BDS Canada.

  • No refunds will be issued for missed classes, late arrivals, or voluntary withdrawal, except where an early cancellation policy explicitly applies.

6. Media Release

  • By attending classes, courses, or events at BDS Canada, participants grant permission for BDS Canada to photograph, video record, or otherwise capture their participation for promotional and marketing purposes.

  • This may include use on social media, websites, advertisements, and other marketing materials.

  • Participants who wish to opt out must notify BDS Canada in writing prior to participation.

7. Studio Rules

  • Proper dance attire, appropriate footwear, and good hygiene are required at all times.

  • Food and beverages are not permitted in studio spaces, except water in sealed containers.

  • Unauthorized audio or video recording of classes is strictly prohibited.

8. Privacy & Communication

  • BDS Canada collects personal information (including names, contact details, and payment information) solely for the purpose of administering programs and communicating with clients.

  • By registering, you consent to receive communications from BDS Canada related to schedules, billing, updates, and promotional content.

9. Termination of Services

BDS Canada reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrollment or access to services for:

  • Non-payment of fees

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Behaviour deemed harmful, unsafe, or disruptive to the school community

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

 

General School Policies

In addition to the above Terms, all participants are subject to the following policies:

 

1. Booking Policy

  • Registration must be completed via the BDS App or Website to secure a spot.

  • Walk-in participation is not guaranteed, as classes may sell out.

  • Drop-in classes may be offered based on availability.

2. Waitlist Policy

  • Once a class is full, participants may join the waitlist.

  • If a spot becomes available, the next eligible participant will be notified.

  • If no spot becomes available, no charge will be applied and any existing class credit will remain on the participant’s account.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Workshop cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time to receive a class credit.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time are considered late cancellations and will be deducted from the participant’s account.

  • No-shows are treated as late cancellations.

4. Latecomer Policy

  • Participants arriving 15 minutes or more late will not be admitted into class.

  • Please plan ahead for traffic, parking, and other potential delays.

5. Refund Policy

  • All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Early workshop cancellations are credited back to the participant’s account.

  • Late workshop cancellations are not eligible for credits.

6. Class Pass Expirations

  • 5-Class Pass: Valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

  • 10-Class Pass: Valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

7. Studio Safety Policy

BDS Canada is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment:

  • Respect for Others: All dancers, staff, and visitors must be treated with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Safety First: Any behaviour that compromises safety, including harassment, unwanted contact, or inappropriate comments, will not be tolerated.

  • Zero Tolerance: BDS Canada reserves the right to deny service or access to anyone who violates this policy.

  • Reporting: Concerns may be reported to a staff member or submitted via email. All reports are handled discreetly.

 

Acknowledgement

By registering for or attending any class, course, workshop, or event at BDS Canada, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and General School Policies.
